your girl is back….!

I want to thank all of you who’ve left sweet and thoughtful comments on my blog. I really appreciate all of them!

Okay y’all, it’s been a while, huh? Well, I’ve been kinda busy. I’ve been concentrating my efforts on getting my freelance writing and editing career off the ground, and I am also taking a marketing class that I completely love.

I’m totally embracing my inner geek and living and breathing my marketing class. I would have never thought that I would enjoy being in school again (pssst…I was the anti-student during high school and university. I hated doing homework and I never did the readings). But for some reason I enjoy going to class every Thursday night. I’m the first one in class with my notebook wide open ready to make lots and lots of notes. Yes, I’m a genuine geek! But knowledge really is power because taking this course has given me a better perspective on what I want to do, and how I can pursue it.
